On the occasion of World Diabetes Day, Research Society for the study of Diabetes in India (RSSDI), Assam chapter organised a Diabetes awareness camp in the city.
The camp comprised of a walkathon along with free diabetes and BP screening and awareness programme.
The walkathon flagged off from the Shree Marwari Databya Aushadhalaya (SMDA), Fancy Bazaar at 7AM and concluded at Marwari Hospitals, Chatribari at 8:30AM followed by blood sugar screening, BP screening, and awareness camp of the participants in the hospital.

Through the awareness campaigns, special emphasis was given on this year’s theme ‘Women and Diabetes’.
