GUWAHATI: Guwahati Police arrested two drug peddlers in an anti-drug operation on Friday, April 26, near the Inter-State Bus Terminal (ISBT).

The suspects, 29-year-old Rashan Kaborambai and 31-year-old Ashem Rojit Singha, both from Imphal, were caught red-handed with 45.50 grams of suspected heroin.
The operation was conducted by a team from Gorchuk Police Station of the West Guwahati police district, as part of the ongoing “War On Drugs” campaign aimed at combating drug trafficking in the region.

Following their arrest, the police initiated legal action against the suspects.
