Following the recent cases of rape and molestation across various parts of Assam, another case of attempt to rape has been reported in Guwahati city.
Jalukbari Police on Saturday arrested one Pabitra Das, who is an employee of N.F Railway, on charges of attempt to rape.
Reportedly, the incident took place at Kamakhya Colony, Guwahati, when Das forced himself on the victim, while she was alone at home.
