GUWAHATI: Guwahati police has introduced swipe machines to collect fines from traffic violators.
People who violate traffic rules and receive challan will now be able to pay the fine instantly using a debit or credit card.
Until now, the fine was collected in cash or through the e-challan systems. The aim behind introducing swipe machines is to make the process more convenient.
