Guwahati: Burmese Python Rescued From Residence In Bamunimaidam

GUWAHATI: A 9.9-feet-long Burmese Python was rescued from a residential area in Guwahati’s Jyotinagar, Bamunimaidam road in the early hours of October 15.

The giant-snake weighing around 11.3 kg entered into a residential building and later was spotted by one of the family members of the apartment. Officials of the forest department reached the spot and rescued the reptile.

Reportedly, after medical examination the snake will be released into the state zoo.
