GUWAHATI: Guwahati Jal Board issued a notice to its consumers, informing them of an upcoming interruption in water supply today.

The disruption will affect designated DMAs AN003, AN004, AN005, AN006, AN007, and AN012, encompassing areas such as Piyoli Phukan Nagar, Chandmari, Rajgarh, Gandhi Basti, Ashram Road, Lachit Nagar, Bora Service, among others.

The interruption is necessitated by the need to rectify a leakage in the feeder main pipe located at the Chandmari U-turn.
As a result, consumers residing in the aforementioned areas may experience a temporary halt in their water supply.
