GUWAHATI: The prime accused has been arrested for allegedly murdering a youth in Satgaon on March 31.

As per reports, a youth's body was found under mysterious circumstances in Guwahati's Satgaon locality. The incident unfolded when locals of the area stumbled upon the body this morning along Milijuli Path in Satgaon.
The deceased Sumu Ali, was reportedly a resident of the Nowapara locality in Satgaon. Upon the discovery of the body, authorities were notified who initiated an investigation into the matter.

The suspect Ishad Ali aged 21 was arrested later on the same day by the police on alleged charges of murdering Sumu Ali.
As per reports, Ishad had prior allegations from Sumu Ali's family members, implicating him in the incident. According to the family, Sumu left home on Saturday night after receiving a call from Ishad.
Talking to GPlus, a police official from Satgaon Police Station said, “We have caught the suspect in this case and are now going ahead with legal proceedings.”
