GUWAHATI: Following the successive cuts in the last few weeks, petrol price is now at its lowest in the last 11 months while diesel is at its lowest since mid-April as on 12 December.
The price gap between the two automobile fuels has been narrowing; however, the rate of decline in petrol prices has not been as sharp as that for diesel.
The petrol price in Guwahati now Stands at Rs.69.6 and diesel stands at Rs.64.99.
It is to be mentioned that with crude oil rates inching upwards, state-run fuel retailers did not make any changes in the retail price.
