Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, Chandra Mohan Patowary on Monday informed the Assembly that the State Government wants the Supreme Court to share all matters related to NRC, with the government and also to the public.
This was put forward by the minister considering that the NRC matter is a sensitive one and the order was a state subject.

The minister had also added that the state government had filed two affidavits before the Supreme Court to retain the five citizenship documents rejected by the Supreme Court.
Speaking at the Assembly, Patowary said, "NRC State Coordinator has submitted NRC reports to the Supreme Court but nobody knows what is there in the reports. The Supreme Court has asked Hajela not to share any NRC related information with anybody, but since this is a sensitive matter and a state issue, we should have access to it."
