GUWAHATI: The Guwahati Metropolitan Drinking Water & Sewerage Board (GMDW&SB) has announced an extension of the water supply disruption across several zones in Guwahati. This disruption is due to essential maintenance work that is still in progress.

The ongoing maintenance impacts water supply in the following District Metered Areas (DMAs): RH001, RH002, RH003, RH006, RH007, and RH009. These DMAs include several key localities such as Ramsahill areas, Kharghuli, Hrimbapur, Latashil/Barowari, Panbazar/Fancy Bazar, and Silpukhuri.
The Guwahati Jal Board has indicated that the water supply is expected to resume by Sunday, June 30. The board had previously notified consumers of the maintenance works, and the extension is necessary to ensure the successful completion of these urgent repairs.
