GUWAHATI: A child labour case has been reported in Sundarpur, Guwahati on Friday, June 28.

The incident came to light when the the Assam Police Sishu Mitra Resource Centre (SMRC) received the tip off and got the District Child Labour Task Force and Police to conduct the rescue.
Upon investigation, it was revealed that the young girl hails from Dhubri, Assam.

Speaking to GPlus, an official from the Kamrup (M) Child Protection Unit said, "The child was presented before the Child Welfare Committee today, and now she has been shifted to shelter home in Guwahati."
