GUWAHATI: The cyber police cell in Guwahati busted a fraud related to cab booking and recovered money looted in the operation, on June 27.

A team from the Cyber Police Station recovered ₹17,818 after a victim reported being defrauded of ₹19,000 earlier this year during Rapido bookings. The recovered amount was credited back to the victim's account. The remaining amount will be recovered and credited back in due course of time as informed by the police.
