GUWAHATI: An unidentified woman aged around 35-37 years died after being hit by a train in Guwahati's Bamunimaidam Railway Colony area on Monday, April 21. The deceased was alleged to be mentally disturbed.

Speaking to GPlus, an eyewitness said, "The woman was walking in the tracks, raving like she had gone crazy when the train came and hit her, leading to her death."
A senior officer from Chandmari Police Station said, "We received an information from the GRP in the morning that a woman had been hit by a train in the morning. The victim is yet to be identified."
