GUWAHATI: The BJP-led Government of Assam has decided to reopen the toll gates in the State.

One of the major toll gates in the State is in Raha, Nagaon which was closed for more than 3 years now following protests from Krishak Mukti Sangram Samiti.

This also led to all other toll gates being shut down in the State.

The Raha toll gate has been handed over to private company named Inderdeep Constructions.

The company will have to pay a daily sum of Rs 10.59 lakh to National Highway Authority of India.
