GUWAHATI: A 20-year-old student of Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Guwahati (TISS-G), was found dead in his hostel room on Sunday, March 30.

The deceased has been identified as Aishik Ghosh, a student at the institute.
Talking to GPlus, an official from Jalukbari Police Outpost said, "We were informed that a student was found hanging in his room at around 2:00 PM. Preliminary reports suggest he was going through depression."
Further investigation is underway.
