The State cabinet on Wednesday decided to set up cold storages and godowns across various places of Assam.
According to sources, the National Bank of Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) will fund an amount of Rs 47 cr for the establishment of the storages.
The Cabinet, in another major decision, allowed the Bureau of Investigation of Economic Offences to carry out raids under the provisions of the Goods and Services Tax.
