Two trucks collided in front of the petrol pump in front of the Radisson Blu Hotel, Guwahati. The incident took place on Wednesday night, November 22nd.
Truck bearing number plate RJ 29GA 2355, carrying goods from city, was taking a u-turn from the divider when the accident took place. It has been alleged that another truck, carrying sand, was over-speeding and traveling towards wrong side.
Chombu Dayal, the truck driver got injured and was taken to Ayurvedic Hospital by the police. Reportedly, the driver of the truck travelling in the wrong direction is absconding.
