Guwahati based Facebook page under scanner for objectionable content

GUWAHATI: Regional Facebook page 'Sarcasm Society of Assam' has recently drawn flak after city based Child Rights Activist Miguel Das Queah raised questions on certain objectionable content posted on the page.

The child rights activist also took to Facebook to share the concern that the content shared on their Facebook page are violative of children's rights.

Miguel, while speaking to G Plus shared his concern on the issue and said that it's extremely sensitive to put up any content related to minors/ children and that a social media account should play a responsible role while communicating anything through their page.

The concern has also been raised to the Assam Police and the Assam State Commission for Protection of Child Rights by Queah, and he has urged the organisations to take immediate action against the social media page.
