Rubbishing the allegations made by Trishna Sharma of adultery and of wrecking her home and marriage, actress Prasturi Parashar has threatened to file a defamation suit of Rs 1 Crore against Trishna. Trishna is the wife of actor/director Manjit Sharma.

Talking to G Plus, Parashar said, “I am mentally harassed by the allegations made by her (Trishna Sharma) and I have already approached the court.” Parashar dared Trishna to prove the allegations saying, “I have never messaged or called Manjit for any personal reasons.”

Parashar said that she knew Manjit Sharma only professionally and had maintained only a professional relation, but his wife Trishna was suspicious by nature and doubted her husband’s interaction with the women he worked with.

Parashar revealed that Manjit had been working under her since the last four years. Recently, she had offered a job to someone else in place of Manjit which might have triggered the agitation in Trishna and she resorted to defaming Prastuti.

Earlier, Trishna had filed a complaint with Chandmari Police alleging that her husband had attempted to kill her after being incited by Prastuti and he was in an extra-marital affair with Prastuti Parashar since three years now.

Manjit has been arrested and sent to judicial custody.

Prastuti can’t be arrested now: Police

According to the complaint received by Chandmari Police and the sections under which the case has been registered, local police revealed that Prastuti Parashar cannot be arrested now.

A senior official at the Chandmari Police Station said, “The case is registered against Manjit Sharma under three sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and not against Prastuti Parashar. So she cannot be arrested now.”

Police further explained that the sections are of physical and mental harassment, attempt to murder, and adultery with a woman outside marriage. Among the three sections mentioned, adultery is not a cognisable offence.

If an offence is not cognisable, the court decides after the trial whether the accused needs to be arrested or not and in this case Manjit Sharma is the accused. Manjit was immediately arrested for the other cognisable registered sections.

Police also informed that they have called Prastuti to take her statement and it will be investigated whether Manjit and Prastuti were in an extra-marital affair or not.

Maximum evidences have been destroyed, claims Trishna

Trishna Sharma has alleged that most of the evidences regarding the extra-marital affair between her husband Manjit Sharma and actress Prastuti Parashar have been destroyed by the duo.

Trishna said, “Very cunningly, both of them (Manjit and Prastuti) destroyed all the evidences which I had collected about their affair since the last two years.”

Trishna said that her husband was having an affair with Prastuti since the last three years and he had broken Trishna’s phone, which had many recorded evidences, many a time.

Trishna said that she has provided the phone numbers which were used by both of them for their communications to the police and if the cyber department extracts all the details the allegations will be proven true.

Trishna further said that if the allegations are proven, she will file a defamation suit of Rs 10 crores against Prastuti.
