Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal on Sunday inaugurated the new office for implementation of Assam Accord Department, in Guwahati.
On the occasion, Sonowal also inaugurated a photo gallery of Assam Movement, housed within the office complex.
Speaking on the inauguration event, Sonowal said, "A firm determination to stand on our commitments has been the hallmark of the Government. As we inaugurate the new office of the Implementation of Assam Accord Department, I believe it will keep alive the legacy of the great movement and work towards fully implementing the Assam Accord."
