GUWAHATI: In a raid conducted by the STF, Assam, under Basistha Police Station, 55 vials containing 74.5 gram of suspected heroin, and 7 Nitrazepam I.P (10mg) tablets were seized along with other illicit items and the apprehension of the individuals involved.

The Special Task Force (STF), Assam, carried out the operation near Khanapara Flyover on April 10.

The apprehended persons are Sunita Basumatary, aged 19, from Sawkuchi, Sanydul Ali, aged 19, from Hatigaon, and Sukur Ali, aged 29, from Satgaon.
Additionally, 5 empty vials and ₹400 in cash have also been seized.
The individuals have been taken into custody and legal proceedings are underway. Further details await.
