GUWAHATI: A man was arrested in possession of suspected opium at the Guwahati Railway Station on December 15.
The alleged individual has been identified as Rajwinder Singh aged 38 from Barnala, Punjab, who was apprehended at the Guwahati Railway Station. He was in possession of suspected opium weighing approximately 700 grams which was confiscated from him on Friday.

Talking to GPlus, a Railway Police official said, “We caught the fellow today at the Guwahati station and we are currently investigating the case.”
Authorities have registered a case in connection with the incident. Further details are awaited.
