GUWAHATI: Dispur Police on Saturday, April 12, apprehended three individuals in connection with a recent burglary at Dakhingaon, Kahilipara, recovering stolen valuables including gold ornaments and a two-wheeler.

The operation began with the arrest of Atowar Hussain (25) from Forest Gate, Garo Gully. Police recovered a mobile phone and a stolen scooty (registration number AS15J4560) from his possession.
During interrogation, Hussain confessed to the crime and revealed the identities of his accomplices — Anowar Hussain (43), and Selim Uddin (41), both residents of Goalpara.
Acting on the information, police arrested the two additional suspects and seized a cache of stolen gold jewellery, including rings, earrings, pendants, and nose pins.
All three accused are currently in police custody as legal proceedings continue.
