GUWAHATI: Ariful Islam, an operative of Jamaat-ul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) who hails from Barpeta in Assam was arrested by the Special Task Force (STF) in Babughat, Kolkata.
Islam was arrested in connection with the blast in Bodh Gaya in January 2018. Police also seized several suspicious documents and currency notes from his possession.
