GUWAHATI: Additional superintendent of Dibrugarh police, Surjeet Singh Panesar, who is heading the investigation Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) scam has been transferred.
Kuladhar Saikia, Assam Director General Of Police speaking to local media said that Panesar might continue with the APSC case investigation but will have to take a call on who will lead the cash-for-job Scam.
It is to be mentioned that following the arrest of former APSC chief Rakesh Kumar Paul, the investigation to the cash-for-job Scam was headed by Surjeet Singh Panesar.
