GUWAHATI: A first-ever Clock Tower will be installed at the Last Gate roundabout in Guwahati soon.
The clock tower in Last Gate has been constructed by the Guwahati City Lions Club and Park Panorama with the help of Assam PWD.
The construction of the clock tower has been underway and is likely to be completed within a month with an estimated value of Rs. 22 lakh.

It is to be mentioned that Assam Engineering College has a clock tower inside the campus, however, this clock tower at the Last Gate area will the first to be installed in a public place.
