The Nyay Patra proposes various commitments for better governance.

A significant promise outlined in the manifesto is ensuring equal opportunities for opposition parties in parliamentary proceedings.

The manifesto pledges that both Houses of Parliament will convene for 100 days a year, reviving past parliamentary traditions.

Additionally, it guarantees that one day per week will be dedicated to discussing topics suggested by the Opposition benches in each House.

Furthermore, it assures that presiding officers of both Houses will be impartial, severing any ties with political parties, and upholding the tradition of neutrality, where the 'Speaker does not speak.'

There have been allegations of the ruling party bulldozing the opposition due to its numerical superiority, leading to passage of crucial bills in the absence of opposition members.

Addressing the media, Singh criticised what he termed as the "Hitler-like rule" of the government and emphasised the need to rectify the situation.

He also expressed concern over the governance in Assam, stating it is 1.5 times more stringent compared to the central government, which poses a significant issue.
