August 18 will see heavy rainfall in most areas.
As the weather pattern progresses into August 19, heavy rainfall persists in certain parts of northeast India.
The rainfall trend persists on August 20, with most places in Assam and other states likely to receive heavy rainfall, the forecast report stated.
