The HS Biology Examination which was scheduled to be held on 17th March has been rescheduled by Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC). The examination will now be held with a fresh question paper on March 24th.
The decision was taken by AHSEC officials along with the All Assam Students Union (AASU) and a number of other student organizations after the question paper leakage controversy.
The meeting chaired by AHSEC chairman Dr Dayananda Borgohain also decided to renew the CID inquiry into the question paper leak of 2016 and include the fresh allegations into the ambit of the probe.
