GUWAHATI: Assam Police recovered a substantial quantity of illegal drugs on Monday, December 30, during an anti-narcotic operation on Silchar Road, Karimganj Police Station area.

During the operation, authorities seized 367 grams of heroin, 6,000 Yaba tablets, and 10 bottles of codeine syrup.
The operation led to the arrest of one individual who is believed to be involved in the drug trafficking network.
Further investigations are underway.
