The incident began on December 25, during the organisation’s celebration of the 96th birth anniversary of Late Acharya Ilaram Das Bap Prabhu in Udalguri, Assam. Milon, who attended the event, shared a photo taken at the venue on Instagram, captioned “Merry Christmas”.

The post drew criticism from the event organisers, who accused Milon of being insensitive by associating the caption with their solemn commemoration. In response, the YouTuber issued a public apology on his social media platforms, expressing regret for any unintentional hurt caused.

However, the situation escalated when the organisers reportedly demanded that Milon appear in person and apologise publicly while kneeling before the gathering. This act of public reprimand has sparked debates about freedom of expression and the treatment of creators in the digital space.

The incident has drawn mixed reactions online, with some defending the organisers’ sentiments and others criticising the demand for a public apology as excessive.

GPlus tried contacting Udalguri police & SP for a statement but they were unavailable.

Further details will be updated as they story progresses.
