GUWAHATI: In yet another case of theft in Guwahati city, the Tangra Satra in Rukminigaon, right at the heart of the city, has been looted by thieves. The incident happened on Wednesday night.
Allegedly, the thieves locked the door of the head priest and took away money from the donation box. It is estimated that around Rs. 15-20 thousand was taken away by the thieves.
The Satra's managing committee has lodged an FIR at the Dispur police station and investigation is on.
