GUWAHATI: A Guwahati constable has lost his life in a road accident that occurred on Friday, January 8.
A speeding jeep hit the policeman who was on his from the commissioner’s office to Dispur Police Station (PS) on a bike.
The incident occurred near the Janata Bhawan (Secretariat) in Guwahati. This was informed to G Plus by Prafulla Das, Officer in Charge (OC) of Dispur Police Station.
The deceased police constable has been identified as Rajib Singha. One resident from Rehabari has been taken into custody for investigation into the matter.
