People have gathered in the markets on January 13 to prepare for Uruka. Fish markets are filled to the brim with customers vying to procure different fish. Similarly, other delicacies are also in high demand such as chicken, mutton, duck, sunga, etc. Mejis of various sizes have also been sold and bhela-ghors have been made around town, in preparation for Uruka tonight.
