GUWAHATI: Guwahati University students staged a protest against the Citizenship Amendment Bill (CAB) in the university premises.
The students pasted posters against the bill on the wee hours of November 30, ahead of Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal’s visit to the campus.
Sonowal visited the campus to participate in a memorial meeting of Bhimbor Deuri.
Earlier this week, students of Cotton University also staged a protest demanding immediate scrapping of CAB.
