Kamrup (Metro) Deputy Commissioner (DC) in a bid to help the confused citizens to get adequate assistance in the government offices had on Wednesday instructed all the government departments that have their offices in the city to open a “May I Help You” counter.
This was decided in a meeting held by DC Virendra Mittal along with other officials of different department.
The counters will be managed by an official who would assist those who visit the respective departments in filing forms and availing other government benefits.
