A team of Kolkata Police today arrested Mithun Choudhury from Arya Hospital here for impersonating as another doctor at Kolkata, who goes by the same name.
The imposter introduced himself as a doctor from Kolkata and sought a job in the hospital here.
"During his background checking, it was found that there is a case registered against him by the doctor at Kolkata and hence, we informed the Kolkata Police about the imposter's whereabouts," police said.

Imposter Choudhury was today presented to the Kamrup (Metro) Chief Judicial Magistrate’s court where he was granted a transit remand.
Choudhury will be taken to Kolkata tomorrow.
