GUWAHATI: One person from Goalpara has tested positive for Covid-19. The total number of positive cases in Assam has now reached 43.
"Since the person is under containment zone, there is no need to fear," tweeted Himanta Biswa Sarma, the health and finance minister of Assam.
32 patients from Assam have been discharged till date and one patient has passed away. A total of 10 cases remain active.
