Guwahati: The Chandmari police yesterday apprehended a man Nabajit Bezbaruah alias Ganesh from Nabagraha, Silpukhuri.
Bezbaruah, allegedly used to win over confidence of various individuals promising them with government jobs and other lucrative business deals.
According to Chandmari Police, 3 cases have already been registered under his name. Also, a warrant has been issued by the Nalbari Court for various illicit activities wherein the said accused used to take money in advance and flee from the place.
A case has been registered against Bezbaruah and he is currently in judicial custody.
