GUWAHATI: Hailakandi district administration has sealed off all the inter-district borders it shares with Karimganj and Cachar districts.
This action comes after a man from Assam’s Karimganj district tested positive for Coronavirus at Silchar Medical College and Hospital (SMCH) on March 31.
It is to be mentioned that earlier, the inter-state border with Mizoram was sealed off.
The district administration along with the police has been keeping strong vigil across the inter-state borders.
