Citizens likely to face massive traffic jam on Saraighat Bridge for one month

Citizens commuting through the Saraighat Bridge are likely to face massive traffic jam for almost one month, on the old Saraighat Bridge.

The bridge which is reportedly damaged at various parts, will undergo construction. The construction work has been taken up by the North East Frontier Railways starting Wednesday..

The construction work led to massive traffic jam on the bridge for several hours on Wednesday. From personal vehicles to ambulances, several hundred vehicles were stuck in the jam for hours.

According to officials, it will take about one month for the entire construction work to be completed and citizens are likely to face traffic jam on the old Saraighat Bridge.
