Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal on Wednesday launched the Chief Minister's Tea Tribes' Football Tournament in Guwahati.
The tournament will be held in 80 Assembly constituencies with 2,000 teams taking part.
Held to promote and explore sporting talents in tea belt and rural areas of Assam, the Chief Minister's Tea Tribes' Football Tournament will provide aspiring youths a platform to showcase their prowess.
