Central and State Government to Work Together on Baghjan Crisis: CM

GUWAHATI: After the massive blowout at the Baghjan in Tinsukia District today afternoon, Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal in a press interaction said that the state, as well as the central governments, will be taking every necessary step to deal with the crisis.

The district administration of Tinsukia has been asked to provide necessary help to the locals. 

Also, the Chief Secretary and the DGP have also been intimated to provide support.

"District administration, police, NDRF and the para-military have reached the spot," said the chief minister.

The Indian Air Force has also been asked to help is controlling the massive fire.

As per media reports, four workers have been injured in the blast. After the first blowout on 27th May, natural gas has been leaking uncontrollably. Experts from Singapore were called in by the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas.
