The event, which took place at the Vidhan Sabha in Jaipur, Rajasthan, was conducted to foster environmental awareness and leadership among India’s youth.

The selected participants included Arunima Dutta, Akshita Sharma, and Rahul Rohan Paul from Gauhati University; Raj Kamal Phukan and Kunal Agarwal from Dibrugarh University; Kuhelika Saha from Cotton University; and Elina Singha from Gauhati University (B. Borooah College).

Organised by Students for Development (SFD) in collaboration with Paryavaran Sanrakshan Gatividhi and other stakeholders, NEYP 2025 provided a platform for youth to engage in meaningful discussions on pressing environmental challenges. Activities such as seminars, workshops, panel discussions, and policy debates were conducted on the same.

This initiative was taken to empower young individuals to contribute to environmental conservation while fostering decision-making, diplomacy, and teamwork.
