GUWAHATI: The Paralympic Association of Assam secure two gold, two silver medals at the 9th National Boccia Championships held in Visakhapatnam from 8 to 16 January 2025.

Sachin Chamaria emerged as a star performer, clinching a Gold medal in the Individual Men BC-3 category and a Silver medal in the BC-3 Mixed Pair event. Sandhya Bhumij added to the tally with a Gold medal in the Individual Women BC-1 category, while Bharat Chetry bagged a Silver medal in the Individual Men BC-2 category.
