GUWAHATI: The High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) exams (matriculation) will start from 14th February and will continue till 2nd March. This was announced on Tuesday, by the Board of Secondary Education, Assam.
According to SEBA, the matriculation exams will be held in 857 centres across the state. A total of 3 lakh 53 thousand students will take part in the exams.

The 2018-19 examination will have new elements. The students will have to use a pen with black ink in the exam and there will be no review for Mathematics and Advanced Mathematics. Moreover, the answer-scripts will have a barcode this time.
For security and other issues the exam centres will have CCTV camera and at sensitive centres Flying Squads will be used.
