GUWAHATI: Ace sprinter from Assam, Hima Das donates her one month's salary to Assam government's coronavirus relief fund.
Taking to its Twitter Handle, Hima wrote, "Friends it’s high time to stand together & support people who need us. I am contributing 1 month of my salary to Assam Govt. in Assam Arogya Nidhi Account made to safeguard the health of people in the wake of Covid-19."
Earlier on March 26, Assam State Finance Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma shared an account number for public donations to combat COVID-19.
The health minister, through his official Twitter handle, has shared the account number of Assam Arogya Nidhi.
