GUWAHATI: With 942 more COVID-19 patients being discharged from different hospitals and COVID care centres in the state, Assam now stands with 10,412 active cases as on August 3.

Assam health minister Himanta Biswa Sarma tweeted, “Discharge Alert more patients have recovered & returned to their families today. Many of them would be with their sisters & brothers to celebrate #RakshaBandhan on Monday."
Meanwhile, Assam has been able to maintain a low positivity rate consistently with 5.91% as on August 2.
