GUWAHATI: In a move to expedite critical infrastructure development in the state, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma chaired a high-level meeting that brought together key stakeholders, including the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) and Indian Railways on December 7.
The meeting focused on accelerating progress on three pivotal projects – the Kamakhya Ropeway, Guwahati Ring Road, and the Kaziranga Corridor.
The Chief Minister emphasised the need for a holistic and collaborative approach, directing a "whole-of-government" strategy that involves seamless coordination among central and state agencies.
The objective is to address any challenges and bottlenecks that may be hindering the smooth execution of these priority projects.
