GUWAHATI: The Bokaghat police and Forest department of Kaziranga National Park, Assam detained and apprehended seven people in connection with Rhino horn trading.
The arrests were made in connection with two separate cases.
The Bokakhat police detained three persons on Thursday in connection with Rhino horn trading in 2016 and handed over to the Forest department. A case was registered against Tarjen Terang, Rajen Rongfer and Mridul Pegu.

Four persons were apprehended by the Forest department on Friday early morning in connection with the trading of a broken piece of Rhino horn. The investigation is going on against Rameswar Signar, Dhanpur Kardong, Hariram Ingti, and Biman Taro.
